In an alliance with Abitec Corp., McIntyre Group announced the launch of its new Mackaderm line of leave-on skin care raw materials. According to the company, these ingredients deliver superior emolliency, solvency, pigment-wetting and emulsification to lotions and color cosmetics.

“Mackaderm was created as a logical extension of our existing competency as a supplier of mild solutions for skin and hair cleansing and conditioning,” said Todd Nelmark, president of McIntyre Group, in a press statement. The new skin care line is composed of emollients, emulsifiers, opacifying esters, hydrating agents and micro-emulsion blends and features Abitec’s line of naturally-derived emollient esters.

Lori Saviers, Abitec’s director of sales, commented: “Our joint technical efforts with McIntyre to offer the skin care technology surrounding our naturally-based emollients will provide new insight on some of these traditional materials.”
