Greentech Ingredient Halts Hair Loss

Meant to combat the hair loss experienced by both male and female consumers, Greentech introduced Hairiline (INCI: Propanediol (and) Water (aqua) (and) Lindera Strychnifolia Root Extract). The ingredient is meant to reduce hair loss and increase hair density during consumers' daily hair care routines.

Hairline addresses hair loss by reportedly mobilizing capillary dynamics; regulating the hair follicle growth cycle; and inhibiting biological markers that affect hair's rest, or telogen, phase. The ingredient is powered by Lindera strychnifolia, an Asian shrub that contains sesquiterpenes, polyphenols and lignans that are meant to act positively on hair density.

Hair density is reportedly increased by the ingredient according to clinical testing performed by the company; after applying a Hairiline formulation twice daily for 84 days, 78% of male participants reported that they experienced faster hair growth and 72% reported that they experienced slower hair loss.

Hairiline is recommended at 1-2%, and can be added to formulations at 35-40°C, during cooling or at any time in cold preparation.
