Tarte Cosmetics has introduced an eye primer that decreases the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Lifted Natural Eye Primer with Firmitol is said to keep shadow in place while reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles by 51% in just 10 minutes. The result, according to the company, is a younger-looking, smoother eye area. The product is formuated with aminobutyric acid and purslane extract to relax the muscles of the face to aid in wrinkle reduction. Ginseng extract is included to promote cell metabolism while gotu kola extract is incorporated to stimulate collagen synthesis and help to even skin tone. The company patented the abovementioned combination of ingredients under the name Firmitol.
This container is infused with EcoPure, a recyclable, non-toxic resin additive that allows plastics to completely biodegrade in less than 1-5 years. Unlike other starch-based additives, EcoPure has an indefinite shelf life and will only begin breaking down once placed in a landfill.
