The disclosed cosmetic composition in this patent concerns the association of alkylpolyglycoside-type, nonionic surfactant; cationic surfactant; liquid fatty ester; and quaternary ammonium-group silicone. According to the inventors, this invention addresses a need for treatments adapted to the mixed nature of hair, i.e., to provide nutrition on the lengths and ends of hair, but a fresh, non-greasy and volumized root. Here, the inventors note particularly remarkable improvement in the lightness and volume of the hair, as well as detangling, smoothing and brilliance.
