These compositions are intended especially for powders, eye shadows, foundations, concealers, lipsticks, makeup products for the body, mascaras, eyeliners or care compositions for the skin.

The inventors disclose a powder whose surface is coated with a silicone compound in such a way that the amount of hydrogen generated by Si--H groups remaining on the surface of the silicone-treated powder is not more than 0.2 mL/g of treated powder and a contact angle of water with the treated powder is at least 100°.
