Mexico has a list of products that are regulated as cosmetics.

Cosmetics are defined as perfumery and beauty products which, through suitable technical means, can modify the natural odor of the body and maintain and improve its aesthetics.

A cosmetic treatment product is a perfumery and beauty product intended to mitigate or prevent deficiencies or alterations in functioning of the ksin or which modifies its structure.
