DSM Nutritional Products has made two appointments in its personal care business unit. Wilfrid Gambade has been named senior VP for the company's personal care business unit, assuming the role from Iliona Haaijer, whose appointment in the company will be announced at a later time.
Wilfrid Gambade, former director of the company's composite resins business unit, has also been names a member of the company's executive committee. He started his career in sales and marketing and soon acquired experience in the cosmetics industry. Gambade worked for Ciba Specialty Chemicals as North American sales head and business responsible for the cosmetics branch. Later, he was global business director at Huntsman, where he built a new segment organization. In 2009, he joined Royal DSM as business director for global resins in Europe and the global market. He was appointed head of that business unit in 2011.
Ilona Haaijer started her international career in marketing and sales and product management at KPN Mobile, proceeding to The Boston Consulting Group. Later, Haaijer joined Royal Philips Electronics. She was the co-founder of the new division Consumer Health & Wellness and CEO of the Philips/AVENT business unit. Since 2010, Haaijer was senior VP and Member of the Executive Committee for the company.
