Heiko Prade, PhD, has joined CLR Chemisches Laboratorium Dr. Kurt Richter GmbH as director of R&D. He succeeds Harald van der Hoeven, who joined CLR in 2006 as director of R&D and now moves to the position of technical marketing director for the company.
Prior to joining the company, Prade held different functions in leading cosmetic companies. He began his career at Dralle in Hamburg, Germany. During his many years in the personal care industry, he has acquired comprehensive R&D experience in skin and hair care research. In recent years, he wrote a number of publications and held presentations at different congresses worldwide in the field of cosmetic actives.
