SDA Elects Board Members

Executives from The Dow Chemical Company and PQ Corporation have been elected to The Soap and Detergent Association's (SDA) board of directors. During its mid-year meeting in Washington, D.C., SDA’s board elected Tony Frencham and Paul J. Ferrall Jr. to fill existing vacancies.

 Tony Frencham, is currently the global business director and general manager of cleaning for the The Dow Chemical Company. Paul J. Ferrall Jr. is president of PQ Americas for the PQ Corporation. The current term of the board members lasts through January 2008. There is one additional vacancy in the SDA board of 25.

 In other action, the board elected Seamus McBride, president, U.S. and Worldwide Commercial Effectiveness for Colgate-Palmolive Company, as SDA treasurer. McBride serves as chair of the board’s finance committee.
