International Flavors & Fragrances has appointed Robert M. Amen as chairman of the board and chief executive officer. For the past 26 years Amen has been with International Paper, most recently serving as president of the company. Executive search firm Spencer Stuart was utilized by the board of directors to assist in the search.

“We are excited to welcome Emily back to lead our legal team and guide our industry’s legal and regulatory strategies,” said Tom Myers, PCPC’s president and CEO. “Her diverse and extensive expertise will be instrumental in navigating our industry’s complex legal and regulatory landscape, enhancing our support to member companies.”

2024 Officers, Directors Named for the Society of Cosmetic Chemists

The Society of Cosmetic Chemists (SCC) named its 2024 board of directors, who will be sworn in at the Annual Meeting, to be held Dec. 11-13, 2023, in New York City.

Established in 2021, the scholarship awards $5,000 to two students of a specific under-represented minority of any gender identity pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a science related field with an interest in pursuing cosmetics.
