Silab Awarded as SME for Performance in France

Silab is the third most performing independent small and medium-sized enterprise (SMEs) in France out of 150, as ranked by by the magazine L’Express-L’Entreprise, Ernst & Young and Ellisphere.

The company came in 11th place in 2012 and seventh in 2013. This progression underlines the consistency with which SILAB is present each year in the top independent SMEs, showing the capacity of the company to innovate, develop its activities and invest sustainably to better serve its clients.

“Combining growth and profitability ensures our capacity of long-term investments and constitutes a true guaranty of independence,” noted Jean Paufique, founder and chairman of the company.

With €35 million of turnover (60% export), Silab allocates more than 20% of its sales in R&D each year. It regularly invests by recruiting new competences and by training its teams (250 people, 1/3 in R&D). Finally, more than €40 million was mobilized in the last 10 years for industrial projects and new technologies.
