Sartomer (a business unit of Arkema) employees celebrated 10 years and more than 1 million hours without a lost-time incident. This achievement shows how strongly Sartomer has followed its commitment to safety, while still provided customers with the chemical solutions they need.
This is a significant accomplishment for the manufacturing site, especially since it has large amounts of potentially hazardous materials that are handled on site daily.
“This milestone marks significant strides in improving the safety culture at our site, and we will continue improving our safe behaviors and actions,” said René Neron, plant manager. “Our intent is relentless pursuit of reducing risk to ourselves, our co-workers, and the local community.”
