Safic-Alcan and Ajinomoto Announce Distribution Agreement

Safic-Alcan has announced a distribution agreement with S.A. Ajinomoto OmniChem N.V.

Effective immediately, Safic-Alcan will distribute Ajinomoto’s full range of amino acid-based personal care ingredients in Portugal, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Bulgaria.

Ajinomoto’s trademarks include Amisoft, Amilite, Ajidew and Eldew.

“We are happy to have been selected by S.A. Ajinomoto OmniChem N.V. and to represent a key player in the cosmetics industry,” said Safic-Alcan CEO Philippe Combette. “This new partnership will allow us to better serve our customers in the dedicated territories by distributing natural and brand new unique ingredients that are highly complementary to Safic-Alcan’s portfolio and which enable us to develop innovative solutions driven by our customer’s needs.”
