Premier Specialties recently announced that it has reached a strategic selling agreement with Brazil-based company, Atina Ativos Naturais. In the agreement, Premier has arranged to market and sell items from Atina’s ingredient portfolio.
Atina concentrates on sustainable arrangements with local Brazilian raw materials, suppliers and natural assets available to them. The company’s ingredient portfolio includes the Wawhite Babassu Powder, as well as other products that meet standards as outlined by FSC, Ecocert, Anvisa and CGen.
Lisa Bouldin, president of Premier Specialties, said, “Partnering with Atina expands Premier’s natural cosmetic offer with regional sourcing founded on a transparent supply chain as well as joint technical development opportunities.”
Eduardo Roxo, manager of Atina Ativos Naturais, stated, “Meeting and complying with several rigorous standards as well as having EFfCI certification allows Atina to expand and develop the range further, based on Brazilian biodiversity. We are excited to have Premier exclusively market our products in the North America where we can jointly grow this effort.”
