Micro Powders, Inc. completed their expansion of their Tarrytown, New York product development laboratory, tripling the size of the previous space. The laboratory is now designed to support product development activities for both the industrial and personal care company divisions.
The improved laboratory also includes ductless fume hood technology as well as a high-efficiency downdraft booth to collect dust during dry powder transfer and handling. Investments were also made in new instrumentalization, including a high performance differential scanning calorimeter and additional test equipment.
