Inter Parfums Reports Sales Increase

Inter Parfums Inc. reported an increase in sales for third quarter 2006. Sales for the quarter reached US$89.7 million, which was a 19% increase from third quarter 2005 at US$75.4 million. Net sales for the first nine months of 2006 were US$230.9 million, an increase of 11% from the first nine months of 2005 at US$207.9 million.

The company finds increased Burberry sales and a successful launch of Burberry London to have contributed to the increase in sales. Also contributing to the increase was Lanvin Rumeur. For the final quarter of 2006, the company plans to launch Paul Smith Story, followed by women's fragrances for S.T. Dupont, Christian Lacroix and Roxy in 2007. The company is also developing personal care products for Gap's North American stores.
