Arch Awarded for Resveratrol Innovation

Arch Personal Care Products received the 2009 BSB Innovation Prize for Metabiotics Resveratrol, its antiaging ingredients designed to reduce inflammation and enhance collage.  The award, which was for an innovative raw material concept, was given in conjunction with the in-cosmetics 2009 in Munich, Germany.

The independent jury for this award category was comprised of Sven Munke, PhD, Unilever; Sven Gohla, PhD, LaPrairie Group; Wolfgang Irrgang, PhD, Mibelle Cosmetics, Rainer Lange, PhD, Johnson & Johnson; and Alfred Markwetz, PhD, Procter & Gamble.

The award was presented by BSB founder Jan Reidel, PhD, to Lisa Bouldin, director of marketing at Arch Personal Care Products and Vince Gruber, PhD, director of R&D for Arch Personal Care.

BSB is a commercial consulting, publishing and research company that works closely with cosmetic companies and their suppliers. The innovation prize was conceived by Riedel in 2003, and it aims to promote the global dissemination of up-to-date knowledge in the cosmetic and personal care industries. This is the second time in two years that the company received this award.
