Triax Pharmaceuticals LLC has launched a dual approach to acne treatment. Minocin PAC, according to the company, is the first prescription acne product to take a Rx and cosmetic approach to acne treatment by providing an oral antibiotic along with calming skincare products.
The line contains pellet-filled capsules to help fight bacteria. In addition, the cosmetic skincare products include calming wipes, a serum and a masque. The calming wipes are formulated with sodium hyluronate to help moisturize. Likewise, the serum also contains sodium hyluronate; however, it also contains green tea extract, silymarin and bisabolol. The masque incorporates algae and green tea extracts.
