Brenntag Opens Personal Care Lab

Brenntag Specialties Inc., a specialty ingredients distributor to the cosmetics industry, dedicated its new personal care applications laboratory in South Plainfield, N.J., USA. The new applications laboratory, according to the company, will focus on personal care formulations while intending to promote ideas and concepts as consumer demands change.

Karl Gordon, manager of technical services, will oversee this new facility in addition to the company's existing color and analytical laboratories, which are also on site. Christina Morgan will join the company as personal care applications specialist. She brings with her over 10 years of personal care formulation experience in hair and skin care, with specialties in creating prototype formulas and customer formulation solutions.
