Azelis Creates Azelis Austria

Azelis has created a new company, Azelis Austria (Brunn am Gebirgeand, Austria), following the purchase of the distribution assets of Weinzierl GmbH. The move was a decision to separate the company’s distribution arm from the production of cosmetics and cleaning products.

The deal with Weinzierl transfers the distribution business assets including contracts, stock and employees. The new business will be managed by Gerhard Meinel, managing director of Azelis Deutschland and Gerhard Stroehle of Azelis Alpine. Four employees previously working for the Weinzierl trading business were transferred to Azelis Austria on Nov. 1, 2008.
