IBC Introduces ALCHEMx

Industrial Biotechnology Corporation (IBC) announced the launch of the ALCHEMx Production Platforms. According to the company, the platforms consist of processes for the design, development, scale-up and optimization of specific chemical compounds that meet IBC's market, economic, and technical criteria.
The ALCHEMx platforms will reportedly produce biological chemical compounds at lower costs with lower environmental impact compared to other more traditional methods and approaches. IBC reports that the platforms will be able to produce 40,000 commercially available compounds.
Senior members of IBC's Scientific and Management Team will be exhibiting the new production platforms at The World Congress on Industrial Biotechnology and Bioprocessing in Toronto, Canada, July 11-14, 2006.
