The European manufacturer ColepCCL announced it is forming a new innovation center to be based in south Germany. According to the company, this location will help to form a central network hub of knowledge, drawing on expertise from suppliers, academic institutions and other industries. The center reportedly will run autonomously, reporting to the ColepCCL board, and will service the company needs across all divisions but will be based at the speciality manufacturing division in Laupheim, where it can also access the company’s center-for-excellence for formulation technology: The European Centre for Application Technology (ECAT). ColepCCL is one of the the largest European contract manufacturer of personal care, cosmetic, over-the-counter pharmaceutical and household products and a leading supplier of tinplate and plastic packaging solutions.
