Title: Symrise Builds in China Following Earthquake
  • Article

Symrise is contributing €50,000 to help build a temporary school in the earthquake-devastated Sichuan province of China. Working in collaboration with China-based non-governmental organization China Youth and Development Fund, Symrise is funding the construction of  the Symrise School of Hope, designed to accommodate 500 students for an interim period of five years, as Chinese government officials work to build a permanent new school.

Symrise China will help oversee the project. Only last month, Symrise opened a Creative Center in Shanghai, China, its first in Asia Pacific and the regional hub for activities including fragrance development, application, consumer research, marketing and sales.
