The Mary Kay cosmetics company reportedly is trying to update its appearance and attract new customers at home and abroad. A recent report featured by Knight Ridder Newspapers said that the company launched a multimillion-dollar ad campaign on Oprah Winfrey’s talk show, targeting the “young, cosmopolitan set.”

The company also is selling to more than 30 countries, including China and Russia, and China is reportedly the company’s second-largest market outside the United States.
