Title: Accucaps Focuses on Cosmetic Production
  • Article

Accucaps Industries, a manufacturer of soft gelatin encapsulation products, has converted its newest facility in Strathroy, Ontario to focus on the production of health, nutritional and cosmetic products.

“The 125,000 square foot, NHPD-licensed, GMP facility will become the ‘centre of excellence’ for the manufacturing and production of health and nutrition in North America,” says Peter Wares, director of sales and marketing.

The new facility houses 16 encapsulation machines capable of producing 4 billion doses, a large temperature-controlled warehouse, and capabilities for blistering, bottling and distribution. Effectively doubling the total manufacturing and production capacity for Accucaps, the Southwestern Ontario operation enhances Accucaps’ ability to meet the needs of H&N marketers such as shorter lead times, competitive pricing and dependable product quality.

According to the company, its facilities are registered with the  US Food and Drug Administration and Health Canada. “Our strength in manufacturing and packaging a range of products that meet or exceed industry quality has allowed us to partner with our customers to supply products to markets in North America, South America, Europe, Asia, Australia and the Middle East," added Wares.
