P&G to Purchase Frederic Fekkai

According to published reports, P&G has agreed to purchase Frederic Fekkai & Co.—a hair care marketer and salon—from Catterton Partners.

"Our goal is to preserve the integrity of the Fekkai business, products and salons as sources of new product inspiration and consumer understanding," said Craig Bahner, vice president and general manager for North American hair care, P&G. "We see an opportunity to learn from and build this unique business model."

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
