Unipex Acquires Lucas Meyer Cosmetics

Unipex has acquired Lucas Meyer Cosmetics, a supplier of natural cosmetic functional ingredients, delivery systems and active ingredients. This acquisition is expected to double Unipex’s proprietary products sales and provide greater formulation support and resources worldwide.
According to Unipex, the acquisition allows it to broaden its offering of innovative products and services for its customers worldwide. The company finds that its expertise in peptides and biotech actives combined with Lucas Meyer Cosmetics' expertise in functional ingredients and phospholipids will improve its innovation processes.
Executives at Lucas Mayer Cosmetics are looking forward to a more global presence. Jean-Pierre Arnaud and Eric Calmon, co-owners of Lucas Meyer Cosmetics, will continue to drive the business.
