Title: Budelpack Acquires Part of COSi
  • Article

Budelpack has acquired business activities from Creative Outsourcing Solutions international (COSi). As part of the transaction, Budelpack  will acquire selected assets of COSi at its Maesteg site in South Wales (UK), which employs nearly 560 employees.

Budelpack will take over the activities on the basis of a new business plan for COSi, which records an annual turnover of € 105 million. This business plan will provide COSi with a solid basis for renewed profitable growth and the further development of its market position.

The acquisition of COSi will reportedly allow Budelpack to enhance its product and service portfolio, strengthen its position in the personal care market and add new strategic relations. The acquisition will give Budelpack UK-based personal care activities and place it in the forefront of the consolidation trend in FMCG operations in Europe.

Budelpack (the Netherlands) is a contract manufacturer and packer for brand owners in fast moving consumer goods. It primarily serves the personal and home care segments.
