Nominations are now open for Cosmetics & Toiletries 2014 R&D Awards, to be presented at in-cosmetics 2014 in Hamburg, Germany. The awards recognize the latest innovations in personal care, honoring the science behind final products.

Nominations are reviewed by an esteemed panel of international experts, who select the winners for two categories—Best New Ingredient and Most Creative Application. Each entry is judged for its significance to the industry and its long-term impact.

The Best New Ingredient award is given to one new personal care raw material for its innovative design or method of development. The award for Most Creative Application will honor one new finished personal care product for the novelty and craft of its formulation or application of a technology.

Winners will also be profiled by Cosmetics & Toiletries. Eligible entries must be associated with a raw material or finished product launched between January 2013 and April 2014. An entry form is available at www.CosmeticsandToiletries.com/awards, and nominations are due by Nov. 15, 2013.
