Title: Kaul Looks to Preventative Skin Care at ATC
  • Article

Nalini Kaul, Ph.D., of Hill Top Research Inc. will look into preventative skin care with her presentation, “Antiaging Skin Care Products: Methodologies and Claim Support,” at ATC Barcelona.

C&T’s Advanced Technology Conference (ATC) will be held in conjunction with in-cosmetics and will focus on all things skin. From trends in raw materials to nanoparticles and “mind claims,” any professional interested in skin care should attend the event. Kaul’s presentation will discuss skin aging concerns (especially in women). Consumers opposed to invasive and expensive procedures need easily accessible products with proven antiaging efficacy. According to Kaul, the antiaging concept includes the prevention of, reversal of and restoration from the effects of aging.

Antioxidants, botanicals, moisturizers, sunscreens and more are all part of the antiaging market; however, often the claims proposed are far-reaching with little scientific data to substantiate them. Current clinical designs as well as sophisticated instrumentation methods used for claim support will be presented. For more information, visit the ATC Web page by clicking here; or Register Online!
