The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors Association (ICMAD) will return to New York City for the 26th edition of ICMAD’s U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Cosmetic Regulations Workshop. The meeting will be held Thursday, April 27, 2006, from , at the New York Athletic Club (180 Central Park South, NY). This seminar is a chance for professionals in the cosmetic industry to ask FDA officials about the rules and regulations that govern cosmetics and over-the-counter drugs.

ICMAD’s experts in international and state regulations will also be available to discuss concerns about labeling, exports, Proposition 65 and insurance. The interactive afternoon session testing attendee’s knowledge of cosmetic regulations was well received last year and will be repeated. This workshop can help everyone run a safer cosmetic business. The cost for this all day workshop is US$195 for members and $295 for nonmembers, which covers workshop materials, continental breakfast and lunch.
