In the Canadian skin care market, facial care is expected to retain the top position in the anti-aging sector, but hand care is set to show the most growth by 2017—i.e., +4.4%, albeit from a relatively smaller value and volume share of just 12.4% of the skin care market (as of 2012).
Skin care in general will likely grow by 2.9% by 2017. As with facial care, anti-aging will play a key role in this growth, as Canadian consumers seek products that help fight the signs of aging not just on their faces, but on their hands as well.
