Ciba Highlights Conditioning Polymer

Ciba Specialty Chemicals highlights a new conditioning polymer for relaxed and damaged hair, Tinocare PQ6H (INCI: Polyquaternium 6). The ingredient reportedly was developed to provide exceptional conditioning, lubricity and reduced grooming friction to the relaxer, treatment and conditioner markets.

The company says the ingredient is a water-soluble polymer compatible with a range of cationic and nonionic ingredients. It is a structured, high molecular weight (HMW), water-soluble polymer.
