At in-cosmetics 2015 in Barcelona, Naturex will debut its natural surfactant from quillaja. Because it is extremely rich in saponins, SAPNOV (INCI: Quillaja Saponaria Wood Extract (and) Sodium Benzoate) possesses unique foaming properties.

The Andean people have been using quillaia to clean skin and treat skin disorders for centuries. Research has confirmed its calming and dermo-purifying properties. Sustainably sourced in the Chilean forest, the plant is efficiently processed in a facility located close to the harvesting areas.

This quillaia extract can be used as a natural non-ionic surfactant, bringing softness and naturalness to skin care, hair care, baby care and oral care products.
