Abstract: Block copolymer blends dissolved in white mineral oil or similar non-polar materials can produce heterophase, thermally reversible, crystal-clear gels that possess many desirable properties for the cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

Traditionally, emollients for cosmetic applications are used in their original form, either as a liquid such as mineral oil and isopropyl palmitat or as a solid such as lanolin.
