Corn Products, McIntyre to Market Starch-Based Polymers

Corn Products International announced a new strategic relationship with McIntyre Group Ltd. to produce a new line of raw materials for the personal care market. The Mackaderm line of leave-on skin care products features ingredients from Corn Products International, a leading global supplier of agriculturally based products. Mackaderm ASTO-Dry (INCI: Aluminum starch octenylsuccinate) reportedly is a naturally derived starch polymer manufactured from waxy corn that provides a soft, smooth feel to skin care formulations.
