Title: Silab Protects Sensitive Scalps with Fumaria Officinalis
  • Article

At in-cosmetics 2013 in Paris, Silab will introduce an ingredient designed to protect sensitive scalps from irritation induced by outside aggressors. Capicalm (INCI: Water (aqua) (and) Butylene Glycol (and) Fumaria Officinalis Extract) contains purified fumitory glycans that protect a sensitive scalp from the environmental aggressors, hair dyes and hair treatments that can lead to chronic irritation.

Fumaria officinalis contains glycans that reduce the inflammatory reaction by limiting the release of key inflammation factors such as NF-kB and PGE2. Therefore, it calms irritation and itching induced by chemical hair treatment.

This natural anti-irritant can be added to all hair treatment products for weakened scalp.
