The fear of suffering hair loss is a cause of unhappiness in many individuals. Consequently there is considerable demand for developing a safe and effective hair-growth stimulant. In this paper we report experiments on mice and humans showing the hair-growth stimulating effects of a natural compound procyanidin B-2 from purified apple juice as treatment for male pattern baldness.
