Aqueous Vitamin E for Skin Care

Showa Denko America Inc. has introduced an aqueous form of vitamin E. TPNa (INCI: Sodium tocopheryl phosphate) is a water-soluble vitamin E and according to the company, it is the first aqueous form of this active that is available.

TPNa is enzymatically catalyzed and converted to vitamin E immediately in the skin, allowing its benefits including preventing inflammation, protecting the skin from harmful UV rays and scavenging free radicals, to begin working faster. According to the company, using an aqueous version is the most efficacious way to deliver vitamin E into the skin.
