In vitro and ex vivo studies conducted by the company show that treatment with the corn-derived biofraction may help skin boost its metabolic activity such as expression of proteasome proteins, elimination of damaged proteins, maintenance of collagen and protection of cells after UV stress. Moreover, these samples showed a lower expression of β-galactosidase.
