Mask Concept to Protect Skin Against Pollution

Technature, a private label manufacturer of skin care, has added a peel-off mask to its Shaker Masks line that is formulated with activated charcoal to protect skin against pollution. The charcoal in the Peel-off Pollution Control mask is incorporated as part of an anti-pollution complex that also contains ivy, sunflower and rice bran, reportedly to act against the cytotoxic effects of polluting smoke.

According to the company, activated coal is known for its detoxifying effects and is used to remove impurities from the skin and sweep away excess sebum. The treatment therefore is especially suitable for combination and oily skin. In addition, the mask is said to act as a protective screen by strengthening the skin’s barrier protection.

As noted, the mask is part of a range, which includes three other textured masks: Smoussy, Creamy and Cristally (translucent). These masks are preservative-free, instant powder masks and they combine with water in a cocktail shaker to form a mask.
