Fancor highlights its new Fancol Abyshea ingredient (INCI: Crambe abyssinica seed oil (and) Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter) extract), an all-natural, vegetable-origin ingredient the company says is biodegradable and contains a high level of unsaponifiables. It contains long-chain unsaturated fatty acids, has a clear, low odor and is a light-weight, stable liquid. The ingredient is completely soluble in vegetable oils and oil solvents, and according to the company, is approved for use in the United States, EU, Japan and elsewhere. Non-animal tested, the product is recommended for use in skin creams, lotions, decorative cosmetics, hair conditioners and stylers.
