To protect skin from the effects of UV damage including photoaging and pigmentation, the Touch of Summer formula includes the company's Parsol 1789 (INCI: Butyl Methoxydibenzolymethane), a UV filter, in combination with its Amphisol K (INCI: Potassium Cetyl Phosphate) emulsifier. Erythrulose is added reportedly to give the skin a natural and uniform tan. Finally, taken from watermelon, the Pepha-Protect (INCI: Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Fruit Extract) prevents DNA damage caused by radiation.
The final Eyes Like Steel formula offered by the company includes Syn-Hycan (INCI: Tetradecyl Aminobutyroylvalylaminobutyric Urea Trifluoroacetate (and) Glycerin (and) Magnesium Chloride), which is reported to show visible remodelling effects and firmer skin by boosting hyaluronan content and increasing the expression of decorin and lumican content for stronger collagen fiber. In addition, Alpaflor Sambucus (INCI: Glycerin (and) Water (aqua) (and) Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract (and) Citric Acid) is incorporated to reduce the biosynthesis of the vascular endothelial growth factor and impart an anti-inflammatory effect. Finally, Niacinamide PC (INCI: Niacinamide) helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles, while the Amphisol K (INCI: Potassium Cetyl Phosphate) emulsifier gives a light and pleasant skin feel.
