High-shine Refractive Index

Dow Personal Care presents its Acudyne Shine (INCI: Styrene/Acrylates Copolymer) acrylic hair styling polymer to impart high shine to hairspray formulations without affecting hold. The product is designed with a higher refractive index than existing hair fixatives and silicones to set hair with an exceptionally glossy finish. In addition, it evenly covers the hair surface. The product has shown good performance in 80% VOC aerosols and 55% VOC anhydrous sprays.
