Ethnic Beauty Brand Enters Color Cosmetics

Natural beauty brand Carol's Daughter is set to enter the color cosmetics market. The company was founded in 1994 as a bath, body, skin and hair care brand for women of color. Since that time, it has opened free-standing stores, entered retail at Macy's and Sephora, and now is entering a new category.

Lip glosses under the name Candy Paint will begin the company's venture into color cosmetics. The glosses come in 12 shades and tout both moisturizing and conditioning properties. The company reportedly plans to expand its color cosmetics offering in the near future. For more information, visit www.carolsdaughter.com.
