Catterton Buys Into Pout

Cosmetics brand Pout Ltd. has announced a recapitalization that will provide additional funds for growth and general operating purposes. Catterton Partners, a private equity firm, is the lead investor in the transaction.
After the transaction is complete, Chrysallis, a portfolio company of Catterton Partners, will manage the operations of Pout, including product development, manufacturing, distribution and marketing communications. According to the company, Pout's Founders will remain instrumental in the overall vision for the brand in conjunction with the Chrysallis team. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
