Dow Corning introduces two silicone acrylate copolymers which are reported to enhance durability and aesthetics in addition to simplifying formulation for color cosmetics.

 FA 4001 CM Silicone Acrylate is a 30% silicone acrylate copolymer dispersed in cyclopentasiloxane. FA 4002 ID Silicone Acrylate is a 40% silicone acrylate copolymer dispersed in isododecane.

After testing, Dow Corning has found the two products to form non-occlusive films, while retaining a durable, uniform color and maintaining soft, non-greasy skin.
