Title: Lentil Pore Reduction for a Primed Skin Surface
  • Article

NARS has added two primers to its Pro-Prime line—one designed to refine the look of pores to regulate shine to impart a matte look to skin and another designed to prime the skin while protecting against environmental stressors. Both Pore Refining Primer and Multi-Protect Primer SPF 30/PA+++ are said to improve the function and durability of color cosmetics when preceding their application.

The Pore Refining Primer is an oil-free, lightweight primer that manages oil with mineral powders, which are said to manage oil in the t-zone and other shine-prone areas while blurring the look of pores, fine lines and wrinkles. Lentil seed extract is incorporated into the formula to diminish the appearance of dilated pores over time for a more refined appearance to create a soft, smooth, even surface. Bisabolol and butterbur root extract are said to calm and soothe the skin. In addition, vitamins A, C and E help protect the skin from free radical damage.
